1. New and Exciting Chess Awards!

There's nothing more exhilarating than earning rewards that reflect your hard work and progress in a game!
This is even more true when playing a game as challenging and interesting as chess! Imagine that, now after every 6th key you gather, your chest reward will be doubled!
We implemented this change to ensure that all our players recognize the gratitude we have for their dedication in the game!
We hope you are as excited as we are for this opportunity.

2. Brand New Special Effects!

Every chess game in Chess Universe is more exciting with the use of our special effects for capturing, checking and check mating!
Everytime you make an exciting move that brings you a step closer to a checkmate you get this rush of excitiment, just waiting for that final chess cresendo! We created effects that perfectly accompany these inner feelings!
All you need to do is tap on your avatar, go into CHESSBOARDS and find our new effects on PAGE 6 which now include: The HACKER, ARCHER, FAIRY, PARTY and SNIPER effect!
You can preview all of these effects inside the app, using the PREVIEW button that appears once you click on any of them.

3. Chess GM: Viswanathan Anand

Here you can see our artistic expression of Vishy as a new Grandmaster for you to collect inside Chess Universe, and on the right is the real deal, the chess legend himself.

Seasoned chess players are undoubtedly familiar with the legendary five-time World Chess Champion and grandmaster, Viswanathan Anand. For those new to the captivating world of chess, let us introduce you to this remarkable figure:

Viswanathan "Vishy" Anand, born on December 11, 1969, is an Indian chess grandmaster who has claimed the World Chess Champion title five times. In 1988, he broke new ground by becoming India's first grandmaster. Anand is among the elite few who have surpassed the prestigious 2800 Elo rating, a milestone he initially achieved in 2006. In 2022, he earned the esteemed position of FIDE's deputy president.

4. Practice Makes Perfect: Analyses

The update that is likely to be most beneficial for honing your skills is the new feature that allows you to analyze each practice match you play against the computer within our game!
Being able to analyse your Computer practice matches will give insight into your mistakes and option to find better moves for each mistake.
This feature becomes available when you click on your avatar, navigate to your match history, and view the complete list of your played games. Now, in addition to your online matches against human opponents, games played against the computer will also appear in the list. Give it a try at no cost.
